英国央行和美联储维持利率不变，英镑上涨 

英镑汇率已升至1.23美元以上，达到10月中旬以来的最高点。升幅是受到美国就业市场放缓数据的影响，这导致投资者相信美联储已经完成升息。此外，投资者也消化完毕英国央行与其他主要央行保持利率稳定的决定。在最近的会议上，英国央行将银行利率维持在 5.25%，这是15年来的最高水准，并强调在相当长一段时间内保持利率高位的承诺。

英国央行警告经济前景具挑战性 

英国央行行长安德鲁·贝利表示，预计近期不会降息。然而，交易员现在预测英国央行可能会在 2024 年底前降息多达三个四分之一百分点。该行还警告称，英国的经济前景仍然非常具有挑战性。最新预测显示，第三季经济陷入停滞，第四季预计仅成长 0.1%。另外，英国央行的预测表明，英国政府预计在今年年底前实现通脹率减半的目标。然而，预计到 2025 年年底，通脹率将保持在央行 2% 的目标之上。最新预测预计 2024 年最后一个季度通脹率为 3.1%，高于先前的预测，但 2025 年最后一个季度将降至 1.9%。
