美国劳工统计局于9月14日公布三份统计报告:  

  1. 零售销售数据  

美国8月零售销售数据月增高于市场预期的0.1%，年增率由2.6%→2.5%。 8月零售销售主要由加油站销售mom由0.1%大幅升至5.2%带动，反映油价的回升，其余类别也普遍呈现正成长，较显著上升的包括汽车与零件由-0.4%→0.3%、电子用品-1.1%→0.7%，外食与餐饮0.8%→0.3%则出现放缓，整体而言，8月零售销售部分原因来自汽油价格回扬，但排除汽车与汽油的零售销售同样高于市场预期(0.2% vs 0.1%)，控制组由0.7%降至0.1%，仍优于市场预期的-0.1%，凸显美国消费市场仍然强劲。

  1. 初请失业金人数  

上周，初请失业金人数由21.7万人上升3000人至22.0万人，低于预期的22.5万人，前周续请失业金人数由168.4万人增加4000人至168.8万人，低于市场预期的169.万人，显示就业市场降温速度较预期更加缓慢。

  1. PPI  

8 月生产者物价指数（PPI）年增1.6%，高于市场预期的1.2% 与前值0.8%，连续第二个月成长；剔除波动较大的食品和能源后，8 月核心PPI 年升2.2%，符合市场预期且低与前值2.4%。 8 月 PPI 成长主因是受到能源和运输成本上涨的推动。
