CAD Melambung, Tetapi Apresiasi Dibatasi 

Dolar Kanada telah menguat ke 1,37 per USD, bangkit kembali dengan kuat dari level terendah satu tahun di 1,39 yang dicapai pada tanggal 1 November. Pemulihan ini diperkuat oleh penurunan indeks DXY secara umum, karena data ekonomi yang lemah dari AS memperkuat indikasi Federal Reserve bahwa mereka mungkin akan menunda kenaikan suku bunga. Namun, apresiasi dibatasi oleh data ekonomi domestik yang mengecewakan, yang meningkatkan ekspektasi akan sikap yang kurang agresif dari Bank of Canada (BoC). 

Pada bulan Oktober, tingkat pengangguran Kanada naik ke level tertinggi dalam 21 bulan terakhir, mencapai 5,7%, yang melebihi ekspektasi pasar. Selain itu, pertumbuhan upah terus melambat, dan penciptaan lapangan kerja tidak sesuai dengan proyeksi, mengindikasikan pelemahan yang mencolok di pasar tenaga kerja Kanada.
