11月コアインフレ率の鈍化は、米FRBのハト派的転換への期待が高まる

10月に横ばいだった米国のPCE＝個人消費支出の物価指数は11月、予想に反して前月比0.1％減となり、市場予想の横ばい継続とは食い違う結果となった。同指数は、2022年2月以来の下落となった。この下落の主な要因は商品価格の0.7%下落で、サービス価格の0.2%上昇を相殺した。また、個人消費支出インフレ率は年率2.6％と2021年2月以来の低い水準となり、10月の2.9％から低下し、予想の2.8％も下回った。 

FRB＝連邦準備制度理事会が重視する、価格変動の大きいエネルギーと食品を除いた指数だと、大きな変化はなく、10月の下方修正に続き、11月も0.1％と安定を維持した。その他の分析では、エネルギー指数は前月比2.7%低下し、食品指数は0.1%低下した。最後に、年間コアインフレ率は3.4％から3.2％へと鈍化し、2021年半ば以来の低水準となった。

最新のインフレ統計は、他の主要通貨に対する米ドルの価値に大きな影響を与えなかったようだ。他の通貨バスケットに対し、米ドル指数は、統計が発表された時点で0.13％安の101.65だった。
