本日の正午にオーストラリア準備銀行（RBA）が最新の政策金利を発表し、オーストラリアの第3四半期消費者物価指数（CPI）が予想以上に好調で、住宅価格が過去最高値近くまで回復したことから、今週25bpsの利上げが実施される可能性が60％に達したと市場が予想している。。逆に、金融引き締めの兆しが見られなければ、豪ドル/米ドルは急速な下落トレンドに入るだろう。 

  • RBA新総裁、タカ派姿勢 

オーストラリア準備銀行のブロック新総裁は、「インフレ見通しが大幅に上昇すれば、必要な追加利上げも行っていく」と声明した。RBAによる利上げ再開への期待は、すでに最近の豪ドル高を引き起こしている。
