  • 銅供應預期減弱：由於巴拿馬政府下令關閉一座大型銅礦，以及英美資源集團下調了明年的產量預期，市場目前對明年銅供應大幅增長的預期有所減弱。倫敦金屬交易所三個月期銅週三上漲0.6%，至每噸8,624美元，今年以來累計上漲了3%。 
  • 美元疲軟帶動銅價：因市場預期美國將迅速降息，且明年市場平衡將趨緊，這導致以美元定價的大宗商品水漲船高。因為對於其他貨幣的買家來說，這些商品變得更便宜，會促使出口國對大宗商品的需求增加。
