法蘭克福DAX 40指數扭轉早盤下跌趨勢，而後以0.14%收漲，創下17,868點的歷史新高。 於此同時，歐洲央行選擇維持利率不動，並且預測通膨大幅下滑，刺激市場在 6 月降息的希望。 

另一方面，德國時裝公司Hugo Boss 調降2024年營業利潤後，股價暴跌11% 使其表現在指數中墊底。 再者，汽車零件供應商Continental表示，汽車市場停滯不前，且面臨成本上升壓力。 默克則預計今年營業利潤將小幅上修，而漢莎航空報2023年的營業利潤達 27 億歐元符合公司財測，並透露今年可維持相同水準。 最後，德國工業訂單繼 12 月成長 12% 後，1 月大幅下降 11.3%，超過估值的 6% 降幅。 

歐洲瀰漫著樂觀情緒，斯托克 50 指數彈升超過 1%，飆升至 23 年來的最高位 4,980 點。 同時，涵蓋更多歐股的斯托克 600 指數也上漲超過 1%，首次突破 500 點大關。
